NEW AGE POLICY IN PITS
Due to some people
being unable to watch their kids closely in the pits, on May 17th, a new
policy has been developed. No children under the age of 10 will be allowed in
the pits. This situation will be monitored closely, and if it does not
improve, the age will expand back to 14 year olds. This change is being made
due to the fact that I saw two unattended children standing by themselves with
no parent in site. I don't want to see anyone get hurt. Sorry for the
inconvenience, but the pit area is not a babysitting service area.
CYCLONES TO RACE SATURDAY, MAY 31ST
The Jiffy Mart Cyclones have
been added to the card on Saturday, May 31st on St. J Auto Night. This will be
another 50 lap event.
DWARF CAR & ANGELS MAKEUP DATES
The makeup date for Dwarf Cars will be on
Saturday, June 14th. The Angels will make the lost event up on Saturday,
August 9th. These makeup events are for the Friday, May 23rd rainout. There
will be no makeup date for Super Stocks, Street Stocks and Daredevils.
UNNECESSARY PROBLEMS
The use of the internet
and cell phones as a source of argument or harrassment will not be tolerated.
We had an incident a couple of weeks ago with this and it is no different than
entering someone elses pit. It doesn't matter if you use the internet, text
messaging, etc., you are violating track policy. There will be no warnings,
and violations will become suspensions.

RIVER BEND RV, BOND AUTO PARTS TRIPLE CROWN SERIES

CHANGE IN PIT OPENING TIME FOR JUNE 7TH, 2008
Due to the large volume of racecars at
Riverside Speedway this season, the pits will open at noon instead of 1pm to
help the race teams get into the pits earlier. This should ease traffic backup
on Brown Road like we experienced last time. Form ONE, yes ONE single lane of
traffic. Anyone caught trying to use a second lane will be held to the back of
the line.
LATE MODEL TIRE RULE DEAL
As voted on by race
teams at the pre-season meeting, each Late Model team may purchase two new
tires for the June 7th, Bond Auto Parts Triple Crown Series race #1, presented
by River Bend RV. Any new team that enters this week is allowed to only
purchase six new tires.
LAST CHANCE FOR LATE MODEL TEAMS TO FILL TIRE
INVENTORY IS JUNE 7TH
Many LMS teams haven't
purchased their full eight original tires yet. These teams have until June 7th
to do so. Any teams that haven't purchased their original eight and competed
on opening night, lose those tires not purchased. Any team that raced the
first week should have ten tires in their inventory by end of night on June
7th. Example: Car #79 bought five tires opening night due to not having money
for more. Car #79 is eligible to buy 5 tires to fill out his inventory by June
7th. If he only buys three tires, than he loses the other two tires.
LATE MODEL & OUTLAW CUT TIRE SLIP POLICY
Riverside Speedway does
not offer Cut Tire Slips. We will however see how things are going with ruined
tires and take a vote during the season.
